I’m Arod. I am a tech consultant by day and a blogger Substacker by night.

I write about how our world is being transformed by climate change. As a child of the 90s, I grew up in a stable world dominated by the End of History and the endless sunshine of limitless growth (or at least, that was the story).

That world is gone.

Instead, we enter a world that is unstable and volatile. Our most basic assumptions of how the world works are changing and for different reasons.

I focus on finding the hidden ways our world is changed by the climate and often write about technology, geopolitics and social issues as they intersect with climate change.

In practice, I often write about the Arctic, Europe and China, critical minerals and technology. I sometimes bring my dog, Milky, with me on my armchair adventures:

I publish a weekly roundup (example here) of the news I think went under the radar and occasionally dive deeper into topics.

I try to shy away from the usual headlines and help you find the important yet hidden signals.
